A technology reporter from New York Times Jenna Wortham stated that Facebook is continuing grew rapidly in year 2009 till 2010 but the number of the percentage decrease drastically . On the other hand, we can say that Facebook phenomenon is reaching down day by day. There are many reasons why certain peoples have starts deactivating their Facebook account which it
means they are quitting from that social networking.
According to the article, Jenna mention that some peoples who steer clear of the site say it can have the opposite effect of making them feel more, not less and alienated.In the article also stated that some people connecting with their friends through Facebook by only see their friends pictures and updates which is they never communicate with each other but they know current updates from their friends.
In my opinion, facebook have both advantages and disadvantages. For example nowadays, many of our friends and family send their wedding invitations through facebook which for me is not a proper thing to do.But, it will affect our relationships with others if we continue doing something like that because we only interact through the social networking but not in reality life. We also should use facebook as medium to interact with our family and friends but not as a medium to keep telling everyone your problem on facebook status. Some people might have their perception on what did you post on your wall. In other hands, you should keep some privacy of your life or other people might know all about your life.
